Flashpoint, the once little record label that could, begins 2007 with

many exciting developments! Marc Johnson & Jupe are proud to announce a

top notch vinyl release schedule that will continue to push the

boundaries of hard house and expose new talent that will become the

future heros of tomorrow, a full and exclusive digital catalogue with

Flashpoint Digital featuring exclusive remixes, a new website that

features all of what you need - digital downloads, vinyl shop, forums,

and all the latest news from FPR HQ. Lastly Marc & Jupe are proud to

announce a full clothing/accessories company spawning from the record

labels success, that will carry the labels dedication to breaking

boundaries, defining the underground, and commitment to quality

products.

On the vinyl front, Flashpoint continues to sign only the best releases

from established artists and also up and coming talent. After 4 years

the FPR crew knows precsiely what it takes to be a FPR vinyl. Marc

Johnson, who has close to a hundred releases and remixes of his own and

is right at the top of the Hard House elite DJs, says "We are proud of

the upcoming schedule which will be announced soon, it shows that we are

commited to sticking to our guns and releasing top quality material at

the harder end of hard house and will continue to do so throughout

2007". Whoever said vinyl is dead is probably wishing they kept their

mouths shut!

As far as downloads go Flashpoint Digital continues to lead the way with

consistently hard hitting digital exclusives. The release schedule is

such that Marc & Jupe expect to have a new release every week thru

Christmas. The decision to go digital was taken by Marc & Jupe several

years ago, and they went big. When other labels were just releasing the

vinyl releases, Flashpoint created it's own Digital arm which signed

exclusive digital releases of the same quality while also releasing the

vinyl tracks that have done the damage in the clubs. The FPR lads have

made the decision to consistently offer their core website following

exclusive downloads, so be sure to register your email and visit the

digital shop at flashpointrecords.co.uk.

The website is one area that Marc & Jupe have left in touched for years

for many reasons, but they decided at the end of 06 that the time was

now to start planning. So after 5 months, many hours of programming

from the crew at Artifical Studio in Cape Town, and a few bugs in the

system, the brand spanking new flashpointrecords.co.uk will launch

officially March 1st. For the first 100 who register their email at the

website, Marc & Jupe are giving an exclusive mix containing some of the

finest FPR releases so don't delay! The forums are already buzzing

although they cannot be reached through the holding page so visit

http://flashpointrecords.co.uk/phpBB2/ and join in the fun!

Flashpoint clothing is the latest venture for the two FPR owners,

responding to demand from fans and also to Marc & Jupe's determination

to push boundaries. Working with the same talented designer in New

Zealand who brought the world the distinctive flashpoint ball logo the

designs are amassing and the launch date moves ever closer. Although

this project is under tight security and no designs have been made

public, you can be rest assured that this new project will once again

blow people away. Jupe says "We started our clothing expedition two

years ago with a simple t-shirt design, and the success of that combined

with the FPR brand gaining such international recognition we decided to

expand our horizons a little and see what happens! We've never shyed

away from trying new things and this is something we feel is really

going to be big." Stay tuned to flashpointrecords.co.uk or

flashpointclothing.com to be the first to see the brand unleashed.
