Following the impressively successful launch party in February PunchFunk and their friends from Illicit Audio and Excentric offer up another star studded line up for the Friday night clubbing masses.

If you don’t know them yet here’s a little background…

PunchFunk began life in June 2004, when Portsmouth residents Chris Vaux and Simon Blann felt that there was nothing in the city which catered for the musical preferences of themselves and their friends.

It is now the number 1 attraction for the house and techno clubbing community of the South Coast pulling in crowds in excess of 1000 each month in Portsmouth. Guests have included such revered names as Josh Wink, Meat Katie, Nic Fanciulli and Slam, all of which enjoyed themselves so much they look to return at every opportunity. Not only this but the biggest fans of the event, Justin Robertson and Fergie have become feature residents and a sure sign of the class of this impressive promotion.

It has also given birth to the rapidly emerging talents of Dave Robertson and Jon Gurd who at present are taking the world by storm through its highly acclaimed record label, PunchFunk Records.

The superb Punchfunk record label was launched in 2006 and has so far featured the likes of Fergie, Valentino Kanzyani and Trevor Rockcliffe, fast staking its claim as one of the most exciting new imprints around with its mixture of new talent and world-famous artists. The digital offshoot has also been doing a roaring trade, showcasing fresh material from young producers the world over. Their stage at Godskitchen Global Gathering 2006 was also a massive success, leaving the Punchfunk mark on the UK's biggest dance music festival.

The London Party sees Punchfunk take over The Key's 3 resplendent rooms alongside the burgeoning talents of Illicit Audio.

This exciting, fresh promotion has set its stall in another Southern city, Southampton. It has fast become a crowd favourite with the locals and the London based promoters/DJs Lofty and Mike Mackeeg behind it couldn’t be happier than to see it flourish in the big smoke.

Co-founder Mike Mackeeg explains: "Illicit Audio takes clubbing back to basics, we started Illicit Audio as an alternative to the usual DJ nights, somewhere people could go where they knew the DJ's were booked 100% on the music they played and this would ensure that a top quality product would be delivered."

They host the Loft with special guests Deepgroove ready to blitz the happy masses with their electronic grooves.

Its no wonder the opening night was the massive success it turned out to be with such a high quality and friendly team behind it. Not forgetting its cheeky chappie Irishman Fergie who has leant his supreme DJing talents to the fold EXCLUSIVELY in London. You really cannot see him anywhere else in the capital at present.

It’s his new brand Excentric that offers the sound of the new Fergie, to great success as it seems. He invites his guests each event and this month he welcomes the all British talents of Stiff Kitten’s Alan Simms along with the precocious talents of Spektre who are creating big waves within the minimal techno movement. There is also Kev Gorman who has just released a sumptuous album for the German powerhouse label, International DJ Gigolo. Maximal’s Jon Donaghy, Dirtbox’s Alex Collings and Excentric’s own Henry Von complete the guest line-up for this amazing event.

The Motto for this party…”Serious Music For Silly People”

And it does exactly what it says on the tin!
