Here's some Sanctuary info for you...

Q. The Sanctuary Festival, what is it?

Well, it's a full-on 3 day / 2 night dance music outdoor festival featuring Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Hard Dance, Hardstyle, Techno, Gabba, Old Skool & Funky House.

Q. Tell me more...

There loads on - 6 massive, full-on festival big-top arenas each housing their own genre of music. Plus there's the Open Air Outdoor Stage, where the cream of the crop from all genres will strut their stuff! It will be simply awesome! Plus there's all the ususal festival fun & frolics: fairground rides, hot & cold food and drinks, on-site shops & merchandise stands, toilets & showers, security patrolled parking and camping areas.

Q. How big is it?

Well, it's at the same venue that Homelands used. It's a huge, beautiful natural bowl in the middle of the countryside that is great for sound levels, and is not affected by the same noise restrictions that limit parties in built up areas or towns. This is the real deal - a proper festival site.

Q. So what's so special about it?

We’re taking the original ethos of the early 90’s, where our music originates from, and putting it into a modern format – a 21st century rave festival with the technology and production standards to boot. If you’ve been to any of our recent shows such as Westfest, Tranz-mission or NYE-NEC, you will know what to expect. Millions of pounds of the very latest in sound, light, video and laser equipment, this time housed within huge big top tents rather than being inside one of the usual indoor venues.

For once, within this natural sanctuary, the music you want is centre stage. No longer are the harder music styles mere add-ons at a festival, this time they are the very centrepiece of the entire show. For the first time this century you will be able to see your underground heroes headlining on a massive outdoor stage, there’s going to be nothing like it!

This is your chance to get out of the city and into your Sanctuary - get away from stuffy, muggy smog of town and enjoy the green fields, clear skies and gentle breeze of the country - all while the music you love is the star of the show.
