Could you reply to this topic if you feel we need to slightly adjust the way the forums are set up.

 

For example I dont feel we need the 'put your name down' forum as all the posts in here can be placed elsewhere.

 

Also I think we need some sections for DJs & Clubs to promote themselves.

 

Also - do we really need the Future Events & This eekend sections or can these be merged.

 

Let me know - I just want to slimline them a bit as I find I am missing posts some days.

At the moment to be honest it seems to be working better planning things a maximum of 4 weeks in advance! Only major events like Ibiza, Gatecrasher, GodsKitchen, Creamfields and Homelands need to be put up well in advanced purely down to the fact people can prepare themseleves for the ticket prices which range from £35-£50 per event!

 

Smaller events like the mini-weekenders in Liverpool etc need only be done a few weeks in advance rather than 2 months away, this then gives the option of changing things around at the last minute!

 

Glasgow is next on the 18th May 2002!

 

Any other ideas????

Why don't you scrap this weekend and just have future events instead?

 

And I agree about the put your name down post, its not really neccessary.......other than that, all seems fine!

Pretty Much Agreed with Tara .

Maybe cordon the categories off with these headings :

 

Festivals IE, GK, GateCrasher, Slinky etc

Club Nights IE M.O.S , Peach, Home etc.

 

Makes things easier to read perhaps than overflowing in about a million diff. categories .

The post under "Future Events" has been taken down but saved! I have replaced it with "Big Events" which include as I've mentioned above! Maybe a link could be put in where if people are definately going the link could take them straight to "Put Your Name Down" section whether they have bought the tickets to the events or are definately making plans to go??

Definately need a section for DJ's and club/club nights to promote themselves. This way they will come back to see replies and gives them a bit of publicity. After speaking to alot of people the incentive of being able to get promtion any where is good.

However i will be attempting to plan our club the world venture to Brighton again for a long time so everything is cool etc...
