CTW Staff \ Admin Forum ?

A lot of forum based sites have a section where only mods \ staff etc can post.

 

A good way of communicating between staff and organising future plans for site, putting ideas across and almost anything really.

CTW is all about a community feel though, members and mods can equally add suggestions and comments to the site aswell as discussing future plans. I think its best that we keep all this as open as possible. To me on CTW no one member has a higher status that anyone else and we are equally as important when out together. Does anyone else share my feelings on this?

yeah i see what you sayin' dave, fair comment, my thoughts just came from the viewpoint if admin need to discuss between themselves for whatever reason, its easier and quicker that way.

 

Only a suggestion though, just seen quite a few other sites with it.

Yep Dave, I agree, I think everyone should be equal on here, thats what James set it up for - a members site!

 

Thats why I think titles are not important, just coz you are a dedicated clubber status when someone else is a rep means nothing, as I said in another post we all club together, we are all equal on here!

 

Thats what its all about!

I just want to re-instate what Dave has just said there - 100% correct and what this site is all about. Anyone who feels they are subordinate to others has got it wrong.

 

Anyone who wants to contribute can do and I'm open to anything - the people who have titles just basically got there first and requested it - i.e. showed they were keen. At the end of the day it doesnt mean a lot and like dave says when we are out we are all equal - apart from me - I just act a complete tw*t who doesnt deserve the job he's in !!!

The reason for the 'reps' was to have one point of call for people in a certain area - their events suggestions etc.. could then be escalated to me or Kev and make a desicion as to where to go next as its so time consuming doing it all ourselves.
