i think one prick has marked everyone he \ she wants to down, i was on 5 stars for ages then it went to 4 along with a load of other people off the site .

contrary to what some people have suggested, i'm not marking everybody down. indeed, i had not yet voted for you so i just gave you 5 to try to get your rating back in shape 8-)

 

it raises a couple of interesting points, doesn't it?

 

is somebody automatically a "prick" for voting the way they want, if that means your (that is one's) score goes down? surely the whole point of a rating system is that people can vote how they like and should not be criticised for doing so?

 

i mean, if certain members are hung up on having a perfect 5.0 and there's going to be a witch hunt every time somebody loses a fraction of a point, what's the point?

 

there are calls for votes to be made public and people to own up, etc. it's an anonymous system so it goes both ways.

to be honest 3 stars is good and 4 stars is superb and 5 starts is excellent.

 

so long as you haven't got 1 or 2 stars you're 'safe' !
