water in ibiza...

i go out there in a week but im just a little worried about getting hold of water in clubs?? .. can any1 give me some info on this...

how much is water?

can u get free water?

do they have the cold water taps on in the toilets?

would they mind u taking water in with u?

...also how much water shud u be drinking??

I wouldn't worry about it too much, their system is probably the same as here, I doubt you can bring it in and it'll probably be pretty pricey to buy! Like most places!

I've bin wondering on this one 2 coz here we just get a bottle - wash it out and use the loo taps all nite! wuldn't advise it there tho as could be dodge water, and it's bloody expensive in the big clubs - heard about £5 a bottle BUT last time my mate was there - while ago now she said there's a way round it coz they stamp ur hand and u can go out n come back - there's loads of bars (cheap) n shops nearby where u can buy it cheaper - drink it then go back after - same goes 4 alcohol 2

yep ive heard its around £5 a bottle!!!

and also read that the cold tap water in the toilets are either turned off(which i thought was they couldnt do??!!) or salt is added to make it taste so bad u wont want to fill up from there!!!

When i went to Tenerife we use to go to the shop next door - buy cheap water and smuggle it in but the big clubs mite check u so guess have 2 wait suss it out when ur there, have bril time anyway - let us know the score coz we're going out end of aug!

Water is dead expensive in clubs, if you fill your bottle up from the taps in the toilets, you risk getting infections from the water, as I assume you're not drinking tap water normally while in Ibiza.

We managed to smuggle a couple of bottles in with us, we were never searched so not really a problem. Just wear you baggiest trousers !!!

you shouldent drink the tap water in ibiza! as its not drinkable! hence the reason they have [censored] loads of mineral water!!!

 

mineral water is cheep to buy in shops out there but can be up to £10 a bottle in a club! its £10 a bottle at manumission!

 

i am taking 2 leitres of mineral water with me for during the day as i drink [censored] loads! so i dont have to buy it out there!

 

however i will have to buy it in the clubs! a freind of mine told me it was cheeper to buy a leitre of vodka then it was to buy a tiney little bottle of water!!!

i thought they had to provide free water by law....or maybe thats just in the uk. i guess we will have to pay the price whatever it is!

Agreed with Ikon, but sometimes, in fact a lot of the time, lager or beer makes ya worse as it de-hydrates you more.

 

I wouldnt drink the water from taps in Ibiza in a million years, like most places in Europe, its probably soft water and poorly purified, i'd just take a load of bottles with you.

 

Dont take the risk mate, specially in a club !
