Trade was where Fergie started DJing intially in England after coming over to live with TdV as a 16 yr old. Sundissential didnt make Fergie he made himself. He is one of the most versatile DJ's on the circuit and can play anything from US House to Tech-House. Remember he is the only what could be described as 'trance' or 'hard' DJ playing @ We Love Sundays this year in Ibiza.

 

Hes moved from a nobody to a relative superstar in no time without compromising his integrity whatsoever.

 

I can see him on the scene for years in a similar vein to Carl Cox. Thats how highly i rate him.

I wouldnt class Fergies recent DJin style as anything like hard. A lot of reports said he played dreadful at GCSSS this year!

All of the above is right in a way, although kinda wrong. Having known Fergie since childhood (he's the same age as myself and I grew up in the same neighbourhood (Larne), Fergie actually started off over here, and Tony De Vit picked him up from a club called The Airport...thats where he got recognised. He's a sound guy, and any time he is over here, he usually surprises various clubs by asking if he could play (and does it for nout).

 

Fair enough, his music has changed, although I still think he deserves more of a handshake than a kick up the arse.

Spot on Creamy! Tim Westwood is a complete knob. He played in the back room of Shine ( www.shine.net ) a few months back and the only words which I can say is "COMPLETE BOLLOX".
