At work, been putting up with as few things including someone distracting me badly, my supervisor being on my back. Also one of my "work mates" has been making stupid fuckwit comments. Normally I can deal with any comments from anyone, and give it all back in their face, but while I have this guy distracting me, i cannot keep my mind on the job, so when someone makes a comment, i can't fire back, and it gets really, really, fucking shite.

 

Have almost (i hope) dealt with the distraction, and today, the person who usually makes the fuckwit comments has been taking serious, serious flak from lots of ppl, basically cos he's fucking his job up.

 

I WISH I was enough of a c_nt, to start making the annoying shitty comments to him, while he's feeling down, and not wanting to answer back.

 

But I don't, cos that's not my style. I let other ppl get on with what they r doing.

 

I also think that my job description has changed slightly because the company want me to get pissed off, and move.

 

I do want to move now, but the new job I've been given hasn't instantly had the effect the company wanted it to have on me, purely because I know that what i'm doing is useful, and is making a blatant direct and obvious impact on the company business (i check computers before they go out the door, and fix problems. And I find (and fix) a lot of problems).

 

So the reason I'm not totally fucked off with what is intended to be a shit job, is purely because I know I'm making a good difference in what I'm doing. How fucking genuine is that .....grrr....

 

This is why i need a thrash at Wild Child tonight. mwuahx.

you'll also find by not giving him the attention he's oviously seeking - thats he'll stfu eventually anyways, its the same in college - people 'try' to wind me up - simply ignore it and then they dont bother - or jsut threaten them 'lightly' when no one else is around

I have a suggestion, You say this guy is always talking shit, well here is a nickname for him;

 

-pampers- (because theyre always full of shit).

 

Im sure that if you tell a few work collegues his new nickname it will liven up your day...

and other really, wierd stuff. he's sort of strange that he tries to provkoe ppl into being...erm...chatty...and wheh they arent (IE, me, being stessed) he'll go on and start to be annoying. blowing him a kiss usually fixes it (?!?!)

Phil,

 

Firstly, there is no point in acting a ###### (I know you said it aint your style but...) and lowering yourself to his standards. Just block him out. Ignore him. Get on with your work and just remember your there to do your job and not to give you time to prats liek him.

 

Why not try and move seats / desks / away from him ? Get away from his immature distraction ?

 

Although if you can't do any of the above, I would go with Ricks idea and call him pampers once in a while and laugh to yourself.

 

Other than that, start looking for a new job !
