should there really be a hardhouse events section?

I think it is marginalising the other events and even being slightly lazy, I have never felt that ctw should or would be too blinkered in terms of events.

 

Plus you get suggestions for New years in the Hardhouse bit, which is just silly, with the huge amounts of posts on here these days it's hard enough to keep track of things, let alone having to check two different event suggestion things, and in fact what will probably happen is that all you get is suggestions for the more general stuff in the hardhouse bit!

 

and that's another thing, there is so much [censored] getting posted theses days, back when it was 200 members that was fine, but quite frankly I don't want to hear about what you had for breakfast. That's more a personal thing though

I'd kind of half agree and half disagree with you on this one, sig. Yes it's putting more emphasis (almost) on the HH events, however it does mean that if you're not really into HH then you don't need to check the HH forum at all, saving time maybe?

 

I'd suggest possibly that the event suggestions forums are maybe a precursor to something bigger and better in the future, i.e. some kind of database for suggestions, instead of them being on a forum (like a shared calendar almost, with discussions about arrangements on and stuff). That'd probably be the best way of doing it, then you could keep the forum for the real randomness! (should so you so require it )

lol@ jay H, nice one! as for the forums, if all events get posted in one of them, the non-hard house events disapear far too quickly, as like it or not the majority of topics that get posted on/organised are hard hsoue ngihts.

Thsi way you can actually get a chance to see em before they disspaear off the first page.

As there are more people into hard house on the board there are usually more hard house events bein posted up hence makin the other events that arent hard house get lost and unnoticed this new forum makes it so the other events dont go unnoticed, therefore for the benefit of non hard house people!!

 

As for the other stuff, its never gonna change really, we've been over and over this and im fuckin sick of hearing it, people will post what theyre gonna post, END OF!!

I think it was put there because loads of people were complaining that CTW was becoming too hard house orientated. I personally think it should all come under events suggestions as, firstly its becoming too confusing with too many forums plus there will be events that could come under both catagories.
