I ran Windows Update and it sorted it for a bit.... but they started comin back tonight!!!

You've both definitely run AdAware, have you? Failing that, do a reformat and make sure after you've reinstalled Windows that you don't download crap like Kazaa (particularly bad). Also don't click Yes when you get the boxes saying "do you want to download and install Gator TimeManager, a precision time/date tool that takes over your life and steals your wife and children, click Yes to continue, bitch".

 

And yes, I'd just recommend a free pop-up killer, like this one, which I use. It's v good.

Kazza is part of Gain (gator) software - thats the reason you are getting the pop-ups - read my advice on how to remove it in the FAO section (FAO James & Sarah)
