im not bitter at all!! im pointing out that weve had a dreadful season by our standards but are still level with chelsea so chelsea cant be that good!! Newcastle are dreadfull too!! at end of day fact of the matter is man u and arsenal are best but liverpool are the closest to them with newcastle and chelsea just behind

To be honest we never win at stamford bridge eva(1990 last time we did)!! but were gonna have to arent we, and i think that over the last couple of years when we really have to win games at end of season then we do, i think thats gonna edge it for us but itl be a good game! Owens on fire again beware!! Newcastle are [censored] wud love it if they didnt make it!! Now that may well be another Leeds case if they dont!!

the only reason liverpool are level with chelsea is cos you were like 15 points clear of everyone at the start, so you could afford to drop points and get away with it. If you havent noticed its the closest premier league of all time, a team can drop from around 7th to 16th by losing a couple of games.

 

all liverpool supporters are the same they think there team is the [censored] as soon as they win a couple of games when in fact its down to whether thay have henchoz and hyypia in defence and whther gerrard and owen are playin well. the rest of team just amble around not really helping at all.

 

and comparing chelsea to leeds, bah! weve been in debt for longer than leeds but we aint idiots,how much money we spend at the start of this season - £0 (de lucas), how much did liverpool spend (diouf, diao, cheyrou) and ur only level with us...what a team!!! and what a manger

Several faults here but il only point a couple out, namely we were 7 pts clear at one point tho everyone had a game in hand so it was really only ever four, the second point is ur comment 'all liverpool fans are the same'. no we are not thats such a generalisation its like saying all black people are the same!! its not true i know what type of fan ur talkin about but i do not fit into this category. Im honest about my team and yes theyr not the best in england they are third best! simple! Finally u talk about the debts of ur club and finish on slagging off Gerrard Houllier. Houllier has transformed the club since his arrival winning 6 trophys in 5 seasons and consistently qualified for champions league. In the transfer market he(and wenger too) foresaw what has happened now and was extremely shrewd in selling players for good prices while he could and buying players who would not break the bank and leave us in a 'leeds' when transfer market collapsed. e.g the Fowler sale £12m looks a hell of a price for someone whos never fit and when he is, is never the player he once was, £3m for Barmby, £3m for Wright too. As a result we have a team capable of challenging for honours with no financial worries. The same cannot be said about the financial predicament of ur chelsea side. though i wouldnt say Ranieri is responsible for this as he too has been shrewd but to slag houllier on the evidence i have given is ridiculous to say the least and shows a serious lack of football knowledge and extreme ignorance!

1.reading jonm's last post i must apologise, i really couldnt be arsed to go looking into liverpools stats for the exact amount of points you were ahead....

3. comparing houllier to wenger bah, there is no comparison

 

seeing as you seem to think you know everything, shall i give you a few facts on monsieur houllier

 

- he was manager of france for the World cup qualifiers before USA 94, france needed to stop bulgaria scoring in the last few mins of the match to qualify, david ginola puts in a cross that was too high for the striker and bulgaria go up the other end and score, houliier then tells the nation that the reason they are not at the world cup is due to david ginola and if they are looking for sum1 to blame then blame him. i also believe it was he who ended eric cantonas international career prematurely altho i may be wrong with this one.

 

-he also sold the best keeper in spain at the moment and had it not been for an injury the keeper who saved u in the league cup final would not have been playing due to gerards great management skills.

 

So in conclusion he is not a manager worthy of being called great, and being given the money to win the league this season instead spent it on a bunch of muppets (technical term)

 

Oh and one more point, Igor Biscan had a trial with SUNDERLAND and was rejected for being, well, not good enough. so who snapped up this solid centre-back, but then again 1 point out of 6 against sunderland maybe he went to the wrong side

Westerveld was a bad keeper mate!! he still is i watch him on sky and is still very prone to makin errors. Though selling him for what he did and kepping faith with Dudek who has made similar errors is somewhat baffling. didnt say Houllier was great and didnt actually compare him to Wenger either i merely pointed out that he and Wenger has both previously talked of a transfer market collapse long before it did and this has explained Houlliers transfer market policy. That aside, its simple: Houllier's gotta deliver title or at least show huge improvements next year or im with you, maybe its time to look elsewhere? Martin O'neill?
