FAO: Everyone I sent a cd to recently....

....do you think its worth me sending out that cv/biog with it?? Is it too much/too little or am I wasting my time sending it out??

 

Have never sent it out with demo cds to anyone other then promoters, so just wondering what the general feeling towards it was, and if there was any suggestions??

if i'm honnest m8 - i took 1 look @ the cv and thought "i cant be arsed to read this" - thats not to say i WONT read it, just that i couldnt be bothered @ the time

 

i did however read the bit about the insiration of the CD and that that made me want to listen to the CD more as u explained the resoning behind the CD and the point u were trying to prove with it (which imo instantly makes it more worth wile listening to it over other CDs if just to cd how well u demonstrated ur point)

i had a quick scan thru it matey, but i didnt read it in detail, probably will later sometime, i'd say in future it may be better just putting in a couple of flyers of upcoming nights and leave the cv thingy for clubs, promoters etc.!

 

 

By the way very good cd mate, was listening to it today in work, like the pink sample tune, think its pretty cool!

i say u should keep it in as even if most ppl dont read it, it costs practically nuffin to print it

This is true - just think it adds more of a 'personal touch' to the package as a whole, rather then just another faceless demo mix....

 

Cheers for the feedback on it tho - think will probably leave it in cos it doesnt add anything to the postage cost whatsoever so leaving it in (even if its binned instantly) doesnt cost sod all really

I'd say to keep including it mate. Gives a decent background and info on the mix too so it seems worth it... Not everyone will read it but still some will.
