The term "acid techno" has been around for donkeys years, a lot longer than "hard dance" for instance.

The reason I ask is because I've heard a lot of people bandy the term around, for quite some time in fact (unlike most hard dance sub-genres which seem to come and go, two-a-penny ... but that's another story ) yet no-one seems to quite agree on what acid techno is!

 

That said, who better to ask than someone who describes their style as acid techno...?
