I use reason too but really only just starting to use it properly so i dont think i can offer much help yet hun.

I think when u dont have the software that u think production is gonna be a lot easier than it is but its def not.... gettinto grips with the software is a shitter... im with u on that Ali its fuckin my head lol

Since moving up north, I have been totally reason based, so that is for about 8 months now, and am learnig new stuff/techniques everyday. Ask me, if I don't know, it will give me something to inspire me and piss about with!!

please dont flame me but.....reason sucks ass..its far too complicated to do simple tasks and its over the top with eye-candy. please believe me... i do know what im on about.

ive been producing for 7 yrs so if you want tips just ask....but please be specific

I guess it's what you find works best for you, the end product is what counts, however you achieve it....

 

Reason is cool, i agree it is complicated to a degree but its like all things once you know your way round it, it becomes easier. I've used most of the other software out there and Reason is 1 of the better 1's i think..... ReWired to Cubase or Orion Platinum etc for VSTI's and you get yaself a cool PC studio....

 

Or spend £1000's on hardware...... i wish

logic audio does everything you could achieve with a re-wired reason setup without the need to run multiple progams, which is just asking for pc trouble if u ask me

I have been trying to 'borrow' a registerd version of Reason to try it out. Their Demo is Crap

Nothing worse than buying something, then deciding you don't like it.

I still use fruity loops to make my Drum tracks, EZPZ.
