i'm about half way thought a ritchie hawtin set

and i have to say, its got to be one of the most baoringest sets i've heard in my life

 

it just goes no where. the mixing is baoring. the tunes are ok but sound really bland they way how his played them

half the tracks he played were pure ambiance.

 

the 2nd half it improving somewhat. theres actually a groove now

i own a fair few minimal tracks, its not the tracks themselves that were dull. it was his mixing.

 

a good 4 mins beween tracks with minimal techno is just stupid. i bring hardhouse in earlyer than that ffs

my point was this: why mix the tunes in sooo late?

i dont know of any other techno DJ that bring their records in that late. it just kills the momentum of the music
