Why I used to be a metaller

I was watching TV last night, and an advert came on for Ministry - Back to the Old Skool (or whatever it ws called), and all the tunes on it brought back such memories.....pure cheese, is it any wonder I was a metaller when the only "dance" music I was getting exposed to was that.

Even hearing stuff like that now reminds me why I always say I like HARD dance, with the emphasis more on the HARD than the DANCE.

too true i know what you mean.....with the chessey ian van dahl inspired non-scense that masquarades as trance, if anyone asks me i say hard trance, and then proceed to tell them the difference for the next 20 minutes.

I must admit, I was driving around listening to Marilyn Manson last week....Antichrist Superstar, which is a classic album (except Beautiful People)

And the looks / attitude you usualy get from your mates who don't know you like that sort of music is comical . Your amazement was a refreshing change . Not whats the fook is this but Oh wow you've got godhead

I used to be a Metaller! In fact i was swapping tales of bands with Glazby at Tidy Weekender as we had so much in common & often went to Monsters Of Rock!

Aways had to make a "special brew" in a camping water carrier to take in.

 

If you ever saw a human pyramid that was usualy us . We got it to 4 high one year ( the pain when it colapsed but it was fun)

There was a great industrial/dance type mix of "[censored] Hostile", it was by Butch Vig, or Coil, or someone like that, think it was on one of the singles.
