The Jaffa cake - Is it a bisciut or cake >>>>

The debate rages on around the office. FOr me it's simple, I would happily dunk a jaffa in my tea. Anything that gets dunked is a biscuit in my opinion. The closed minded people round the office say it's a cake because it's called a cake. I have pointed them in the direction of the fish cake and indeed the rice cake to back up my argument (clearly neither are cakes).

More news as it happens.

Biscuit comes from the French term meaning 'baked twice'. Jaffa cakes aren't baked twice thus they are a cake! thefinger.gif

i dont think this is true!! boulangere = to bake

deux frois = twice

tho my mums just said that thru sum fuct up way biscuit does orientate from baked twice but more importantly biscuits arent fuckin baked twice anyway!!!
