yeah luu i was meaning in general..you should be able to make up your own mind on things..and the papers is just another way of finding out info.

 

i hope that it does stop people taking drugs...but sometimes i wish that there was more fact than just scare tatics reported.

 

in edinburgh weve got really good counselling, drop in centres for people aged 16-29 about drugs and sexual health...ive been in quite a few times and they are brilliant...

 

they dont talk down to you, as theve done it all themselves. Theve got the attitude of telling young adults how to take them properly..

 

which i wish was availbile more easily..cause i really want to know more about drugs like gb... and not learning thru mates experiences as we all react differently...

 

might go in the next time im back home actually..

I heard this on the news too!

 

It really fucked me off, as i heard that the girl didn't even fall over in the 'rave'. She fell over the next day, bumped her head, and died 7 days later. So, because she took Ecstasy, of her own free will, fell over and hit her head and died 7, count them, S E V E N days later, it was the driug's fault.

 

Yeah right, and if you beleive that then you beleive anything.

 

Thats one thing i hate about the media, as has been said earlier, they haven't got a clue, and by hiding and making things look bad, and blaming things that are not really at fault, they think they are gonna scare people into not taking said substances.

People are not gonna stop taking them, over 2.5 million people take ecstasy every weekend, never mind the ones who snort coke and bomb speed, as well as ###### and gb. Its not going to go away, and the dumb arse media (who are all probably laughing while snorting their way through grams grams and more grams of coke) think it will.

 

Why not actually give advice on drug use, instead of lies. Then maybe Less people would die, or not go to hospital.

 

Half of the victims, it is said that, they are on their first pill. Which in theory only points to no education in drugs.

The girl that died lived a couple of miles away from where i live. The reason she died seven days later is because her family decided to switch of her life support on Friday. This does not mean the ecstacy was not an influencing factor in her death! It has been reported that she had two blood clots and swelling of the brain. She could have had the blood clot for sometime, and she could have also fallen at anytime which would have worsened her condition.

 

I think that because ecstacy was involved this case has been highlighted in the media, and its something that her family blame for her sudden death. But i don't think the fact the ecstacy was involved, should be instantly dismissed as we don't know the full facts about what happened.
