Nasty disease I've found myself falling victim to more and more recently....

I have found myself a victim of the crippling disease of;

Ralphitus

This nasty little virus manifests itself in clubs. The sufferer finds it impossible to listen to a tune without reeling off the title, producer, label and remix of said track.

Extreme cases are identified when the user adds the following sentence onto the end of any description;

"And I had it two months ago on white label".

If I do this to anyone in a club, please slap me*

(*Note: Slaps are not applicable retroactively. i.e. You can't hit me for what I've already said).

Harder. Faster. Better. Stronger. Badder. Smarter. Wub Wub

Wub - this is stange - I have completely the opposite disease - I cant remember any names of DJs, producers, record labels - its impossible - I give up - its so fecking annoying as it makes it sound like i'm not into it as much as others but its just the names I cant remember, instead when I listen to a tune I'm constantly trying to chop it up and filter out certain channels and samples and see how they would fit with other tunes I've heard. Gonna stop thinking about DJing and trying to talk about music to people and start getting back to writing new stuff, or perhaps just start remixing tunes first. Again though I just need to stop going out so much so I can buy some new kit. Bloody vicious circles - dont you just love 'em !? not !

I think i have another strain of this virus, i can't help giving people a running commentary of when the mix is coming in / lapping/and going out whilst telling you the name, title, producer, label of the next track being mixed in just by listening to the lead percussion! I'm banghead.gif scared, sounds like its an advanced version! spliff.gif

I am terrible at listening to tunes and thinking "I love that sound, I could write a great song with that." I'm not as bad as I used to be. I also suffer from not being able to remember ANY tune when I am sat in front of WinMX (I don't like Kazaa, it killed my machine), and I don't just mean HH, any tune. I am getting good at actually getting DJ's to write down the name of a tune, or else I write an SMS with the name in, then save it instead of sending it!
