got a itchy thing on my leg, doc says its stress related. do u think it could be the sweets on a w/end?

I get something I call 'spring skin' - basically I get an itch that won't go away and is an utter pain in the arse. It's related to two things - slight dehydration, and another factor (no idea what!). Water and an anti-hystamine (like Zirtec) works really well for me...

this thing on my leg is gettin bigger, got some cream so ill see wot happens

I used to get this alot when i first started sweeties, i used to get little itchy patches of skin around my neck and on my face (not attractive) the day after i had them...

 

Not actually sure why i got/get this but i thought id let you know you're not alone Paula!

 

thanx misty. doc says its soriosis. cant spell it. but its made me wonder if it is the w/end thing, with missin nites sleep n stuff

A friend of mine had soriosis, it was brought on by the chemicals in the cleaning fluids they used at the bar he worked at. You could see if its been brought on by anything?

Possibly hun....

 

But saying that i really wouldnt have a clue

Its psoriasis and it can be stress related or down to nerves, sometimes it can just appear tho!! I have spells of havin it and so does my sister!! I find vitamin E cream helps a lot!! If u want any more info then lemme know on msnn or email etc!!

thanx claire. been usin this cream with steroid in, its makin it more itchy. cant win

Yeah they can give u steroid cream too but that can sometimes irritate it even more, UV is good for it and sometimes they get people under uv (ie a sunbed) to help clear it up!!
