Is CTW becoming more 'business' instead of 'pleasure' ?

as ive said before i will do every thing i can for CTW if i get help and can handle it.The only reason im a mod for ctw is to organise meetup and do reviews etc, i do this and have said many times 2 u b4 what else can i do. possibly a box where we can input ideas and offer to take more responsibility in CTW?

 

ive been behind u and sarah since the beginning and i still am ill help

I think it's great that othe m embers of this site put up posts about promoting their nights. At the end of the day, we ALL love clubbing. What is this ite here for? For many reasons and one of them is for clubbing.

 

When other members are promoting their nights on here, its for our enjoyment aswell as theirs. Also, it gives other ppl tips and ideas if ever they want to promote their own clubbing night.

 

I think its pretty shite that 4clubbers actualy delete these posts, i myself have seen this being done on their site. t the end of the day, postoing about promoting a new night in clubland, that can become big and successfull is liek opening another door in club land. Another event for ppl to enjoy, review etc etc

 

I DO think though that the whole event organising side of it should come OUT of the forums and into a proper engine

I can tell you now that its going to be AT LEAST until the end of this year before anything is sorted with regards seperating the promotional side & event suggestions/meetup attendees from the forums. I do hope people arent going to continue complaining until 2004 !

 

PLEASE just 'accept' things as they are people and enjoy it for what it is today !

 

I DONT want to do a 'rush' job - i want to do this properly - so dont expect any radical changes for MONTHS.

No. The new non-clubbing events need sorting NOW. Its nealy the summer. Its prepared. Its ready but not for use on the forums. I'll say again - THEY GET MISSED.

We've been trying to find a 'SarahPVC' to promote Trance, Funky and other genres for a YEAR now - the fact is no one wants to do anything for nothing in this world anymore.

if u want to re-arrange the meetups info, then do a forum for CTW Nights (official clubtheworld events)

and one for other Meetups (chance for people to see which of their friends are going where)
