CTW DJs Chris-Hutchinson Posted June 1, 2003 CTW DJs Share Posted June 1, 2003 Umek 'Zoombie' (on Recycled Loops) is amazing!! More funky techno then prog, but its worth checking out :-)

If you have a look at any releases on Fluential, Underground Sound of Reniassance, Yoshitoshi (that's Deep Dish's own label), Bedrock.... that should be some good 'uns for starters Quote WiLDCHiLD - where spacehoppers and pom poms rule

CTW DJs Guyster Posted June 3, 2003 CTW DJs Share Posted June 3, 2003 For CDs.... go for any of the GLobal Underground ones. They are without doubt the best compilation series EVER released. New Deep Dish one is out, but any of the last few are good (Digger's one is beautiful). go to www.globalunderground.co.uk and check it out. Fantastic. GO BUY nick warren amsterdam GU018 is brilliant! there was a time when i used to think prog house was boring but turns out that's because what i thought in my mind was prog.... wasn't actually prog. well-written and produced prog can be well banging if it wants to be and really uplifting as well, without the cheese.
