I take ur points mate, but i really wouldn't worry about it too much.

 

The stuff about the threats earlier is however bad [censored].

As i have stated, i am all for banter, but actively threatening people is an extremely sad exercise, as when it really comes down to it, are you really going to drive half way across the country to beat up/abuse someone who insulted your girlfriend/mate/mum on a website? I think not.

the MAIN thing about this board that makes it friendly is the fact most ppl have their pic as their avator - that instantly makes it infinitely more sociable than any msg board which just has a gif or something.

 

i've been on a couple of other boards and been on one where i've met half the ppl, but which didn't have pics, when u get back on the board after a night out with the board ppl it can still go back to being slightly impersonal.

 

2 be honest i think that the board will keep itself being inviting as long as ppl have their pic by it, if u take 2 versions of a slaggin off post, 1 with pic, 1 without, the 1 with the pic is much mor readble without getting wound up than the other 1.

 

even if i got a mild slaggin off from some1 i'd never met but could see what they looked like it's much easier to read it.
