Most places are perfectly fine, but you always get some places which will do almost anything to maximise profit. As for the water soaking thing to increase weight, that's standard practice for all economy chicken products/carcasses. there is an incredible amount of crap in a lot of food and stuffs, but to be honest i don't really care, if it dont kill me or make me ill and it tastes good then that's fine with me most of the time. CTW Admin James Posted June 11, 2003 CTW Admin Share Posted June 11, 2003 Without a shadow of a doubt Beef is the best... "Whats your Beef ?" is also now one of my favourite sayings. I'm not sure I've heard "Whats your Lamb / Pork ?" I used to like Lamb but then for some reason couldnt get it out of my head what I was actually eating which put me off and I also found the meat really 'stringy' at times.
