I'm not talking about swearing here.

 

We can't stop people swearing & i wouldn't want to, as i do it myself it can be very funny. What i don't like is as Creamy says the swearing for the sake of it or because you have nothing better to say for yourself. There are so many other words to use.

 

I'm talking about people having the option to stay anon if they so wish. And not abusing it as we have seen it being used in the past.

I think thats what James means as well. Not out and out banning swearing. I think some have now been censored anyway to discourage it.

kev - you should see an 'approve posts' in your mod panel ?

 

I can see this is actually going to be a pain in the arse and not lasting long ! we'll just have to take the risk with anon posts methinks and hope we spot the bad ones early on..

yeh keep the annon, but as soon as you notice or are informed then take action of what ever form!!!!

right, the new 'approval process', and remembering to check it is a right pain in the ass so i've immediately switched it off.

 

its up to all of us to check and use the 'notify moderator' icon or better still Private Message a moderator of the forum when an illegal post is put up.
