Work out. Running, rowing, x-training and so on. Eat less as well (I'm not being rude here), but eat sensibley.(sp?) Don't expect a massive weight loss straight away, but it will come with time...

But don't listen to that Body Mass Index website. Listen to your body. That site reckons I'm 1.1 away from being obese - I'm currently training for a 100Km run and some rugby as well. I think not.... Plus any bodybuilder (

Its a guide for the average person. I also weight train, run and swim regularly and I'm on the border of obese according to the BMI, but looking at myself its quite obvious that I'm not obese. Just apply a little common sense when looking at the results.

I don't do much on this planet, but David Blaine has taught me that I could do less!!

so is 7 and a half stone 7.12???? sorry i am a bit slow!!

No...7 and a half stone is 105 pounds

(Simply put...14 pounds in 1 stone...98 ponds in 7 stone....7 pounds in half a stone...so 98+7= 105)

Is that any help?

To get from pounds to kilos...just divide by 2.2

Just so you know...weight doesnt mean [censored] anyway.

When you weigh yourself you are weighing water, muscle, flesh and fat...and seeing as muscle is HEAVIER than fat you should really be measuring your waist...trying to GAIN weight but lose inches.

A few years ago (just after the easiest divorce in history) I weighed 11.5 stone and had a 34 inch waist....within 6 months I'd put on half a stone and lost 4 inches.

So please trust me...being heavy does NOT mean you are fat...its inches that count.

[EDIT]

I'd also like to point out that DIETS DONT WORK...Starving your body from the nutrients, vitamins and minerals it needs doesnt help you at all. All you really need to do to lose inches is to EXCERCISE MORE....take brisk walks, go for a few long bike rides, dont drive to the nearest shop...walk.

Its not that hard once you get use to it.
