It had not occurred to me that a straight person might deliberately act camp. But as I said, I have the same reservations about a straight person with a front, as I do about a gay person with a front.

Precisely. Which is why, when people put on a front, it makes me wonder what they really are about. If you have an interesting personality then why do you need to put on a certain act to get attention?

Believe it or not, some people really do believe that acting camp is the way they *should* be... It's a crying shame, but over the next 5/10 years I think we'll see less of it.

i have no problems with gay people!!!

 

a few of my very close mates are gay and this has never bothered me in the slightest!!

 

i also have a uncle who is gay and love him to bits!!

 

all i can say on this matter is everybody needs to be happy and if its with someone of the same sex thats fine by me!!!!

Ultimately, being gay is about being able to fall in love with someone of the same sex, and being attracted "in that way" both mentally and physically to someone of the same sex... Apart from that, it's no different to being straight.

 

I know that it's difficult (if indeed possible) for straight people to fully understand being able to fall in love and being attracted to someone of the same sex. Indeed, the same is true of gay people and fully understanding falling in love with and being attracted to someone of the opposite sex. It's not about understanding it - it's about accepting it and living and let live.

 

For anyone that hasn't already seen the films Get Real and Beautiful Thing, I'd recommend them as coming-of-age stories of our time...

Well i've been to a few after clubs i.e afterssential what a freak show.

i've seen so many things in these clubs that would make you lot sick.
