1. Look up the word "reckon" in the dictionary. It means quite the opposite of "to mess with". This is not a subjective issue; you have simply misquoted a well-known saying.

It can takes mere hours to get a tune 80% finished but it takes weeks to perfect it.

 

The best way to become more critical of your own music (I'm sorry mate) is to actively listen to other people's music, and be critical of them too. Otherwise you will never be objective about your tunes.

 

You don't have to steal other people's ideas, but there are so many tricks you could learn from existing producers. After all, if you take your argument about wanting to be totally original (by not being influenced by others) to its logical conclusion, then maybe you should get rid of all your keyboards too and make your own original instruments...? I know this is a bit silly, but where do you draw the line?

exactly, you dont know me, we've not once talked not even on a normal level i think for this reason u think most of what i say is bull, which is understandable, if someone i didn't know, came up to me and said they had produced over 1200 tunes i would probally react in the same way, though everyone who does know me, they've not had a problem with my list of work, we need to chat sometime, get to know each other as producers, and mad ass clubbers
