So? The sampling facilties in Reason are a cut above most all the refills out there are countless. You don't need vstis with Reason refills are are good enough alternative and they are free most of the time. All the add on soft synths cost money the free ones are bollocks. Fact Fruity as a stand alone package is inferior.

Anyway, whatever software you use you can find your own ways of achieving the sound you want be it Fruity or Reason. Airbase one of the the most in demand Trance producer at the moment with record deals on Armarda, Platipus, Afterglow, JOOF, Alphabetcity, Mondo has had no problems without the "vital" plug ins has he?

LTM, your style of argument about how can make wicked tunes with X can just as easily work against you as for you.

 

I do take on board some of your specific comments about limitations of various programs.

 

But you come across as a Reason-zealot who can't accept that maybe there are alternatives to the way YOU do things...? Have you actually ever tried any good VST instruments or are you just ASSUMING that you can get whatever you want for Reason?

 

I don't doubt that there are some good plugins for Reason, but you seem to be in denial of the fact that NOT supporting VSTi's is a SERIOUS limitation!!!

 

You're not gonna convert anyone to your cause by being so one-sided...
