Righty then. I was living with Gary (freestyler) and Claire and all the other unfortunates. These are the facts.

1) Most importantly, Gary did not know what he was doing. i.e. he didn´t even know that Viva La Trance meant long live trance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) He had no money. Money he did have, he put up his nose.

3) He is disturbed in some way. I witnessed him hit Claire and saw the bruise after. He also smashed a bottle, and threw her belongings out of the apartment. Carl Nicholson: please don´t talk about things like this that you don´t have a clue about.

4) Gary is a compulsive liar. Every word that came out of his mouth was a lie.

5) Gary wrote suicide notes to us all to make us feel sorry for him after he hit Claire and when we phoned him, he was in the West End getting drunk.

6) He´s thick as pig [censored]. He had no clue about promoting this night at all, he did no flyering although we were all ready to go the day we got there. He didn´t think the printers wanted paying when he went to pick up the posters, and so he only had enough money to get a few.

7) To top it all off, nobody who worked for him got paid. Nobody even knows where he is now.

I was living in the apartment with him, went out drinking with him and did the posters with him, so please do not tell me that I´m wrong.

(you´ll hear no more from me on this subject, and I´ll go back to being nice tommy from now on )

All the above from tom is true. I also witnessed Gary´s violent outburst and continual lying about everything to everyone. It was like living wiv a timebomb. Am glad he´s gone. Though obviously not glad to be without a job now.

I still feel Claire went somewhat over the top in telling EVERYONE who would listen (even guys who she met in nightclubs, reps in the street) what happened. That is petty and low in my book. She didn't need to do that.

Im very depressed about what went on out there, but I'm trying to grab positives. I got to DJ in Ibiza, an ambition acheived. I had Greg Downey and Carl Nicholson say that my set was excellent (not bad for my first ever set in a club), which meant more to me then anything I have ever known and spent 6 weeks in Ibiza. For that, Gary deserves my thanks for giving me the oppotunity.

Gary has enough to suffer, he has huge huge debts when he resurfaces. I suggest that is punishment enough for what happened out there.

I'm sorry but

 

1) Claire showed me her "Injurys" and it looked like she had a close encounter with a Gnat! Not exactly GBH was it!

 

2) Over the past year i have had numerous sob storys of which i believed and even offered to help!

 

3) If you were actually doing any promotion out there you may have got more than the crew i brought with me!

 

4) I came out there under my own steam, with no help from anyone to see what i could do, played and didnt get paid (Which i have not griped about!), and you don't hear me kicking the bloke when he is down.

 

5) I can air my opinion like the rest, if you guys had actually given him some confidence instead of threatening with spanish police, then maybe with a bit of teamwork it could have suceeded, but all you wanted was an easy ride from what i could see!
