Ok - this is a bit strange - im forever filling this in, because, for some reason, they dissapear. When I re-fill in the field, and save the changes, I have a look at my profile, and all seems fine. Just checked it, and what I put there before, most are missing.

 

Whats the score?

I can only assume you are blowing some kind of field length limit. Obviously it shouldnt allow you to type in something too long but I have a suspicion it does but then cant update the record - it probably errors but doesnt write an error out. I will look into it.

it wouldn't be a cookie prob, as the data needs to be stored on the DB to be remembered. no point in remembering it in a cookie because once you clear them all the information would be lost.

 

James have you set the character length in the input boxs on the page to match the DB size?

i know what the problem is - I just need to get it fixed now - its not a massive priority at the moment but it will be done in time
