CTW Promotors Lisa Posted July 28, 2003 CTW Promotors Share Posted July 28, 2003 I had a great time despite the weather, thought it was actually quite funny trying to walk in the mud!!! Good to meet a few peeps too, I dunno a bit of rain & mud & peeps are like *oh what a crap night* each to there own i guess, It was warm & dry inside the tents & I didnt think they were too packed, so considering everything IMO it was still wicked!! Cheers to Maria for getting me on those rides!! Fantastic hon Quote Techno, Techno, Techno
CTW Members Dawn Posted July 28, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted July 28, 2003 I had a great time met lots of lovely CTW'ers (not as many as i'd hoped but there's always another time) Managed to get into every tent, heard some great sets, who, what and where I have no recollection Managed to loose all my mates, finally got their txt that they'd sent at 2.30 saying they'd gone home threw to me at 5 but a good mission had looking for them The mud was the highlight of my night many helpful young men about But I will not be wearing backless trainers to another outside event Quote 👶
CTW Admin James Posted July 28, 2003 CTW Admin Share Posted July 28, 2003 I must admit I didnt particularly enjoy it this time. Last year was fantastic and obviously the weather helped a lot but I'm really going off festivals and long durations now. Quite a few things didnt go according to plan and where the fook was the 'lazer fountain' - myself and Signum had a good laugh about this non-existant meeting place - there were far better/larger landmarks around ! I did manage to bump into most people though I think, was just a pity we couldnt have all got together at least once but to be honest its always going to be difficult and sets will be on which people wont want to miss for anything - especially if they've already worked their way up the front. Burgers were £5 - and didnt even taste that great. Beer was £4 a can. My favourite tent was the Strongbow one as it was the dryest and a pint was only £3, plus the sound system was better than the one in the Sundissential tent and myself, dooby and maria listened to one of the best funky house sets we've ever heard in there. I made a short visit to the trance tent but really didnt have the effort to get right to the front but the visuals were spectacular. Driving out took a few hours but I expected this from last year. Felt really sorry for Pablo who had LOST HIS CAR KEYS and had a car load of people to drive back to Manchester - hope he's ok ! Saw another couple of cars being towed off as well due to people losing keys I expect. Maria had her mobile nicked out of her pocket, i'm quite suprised i didnt lose anything actually. Smaller, more personal clubs for me from now on. At least my calf muscles are well excersised! Was great to see lots of you there though, this is what made it worthwhile in the end.
