Ive been pondering about getting one for a while and since a chance has come @ work for me to get a bit of extra cash i've been having a scout about.

Since i dont know how much i'll use it i dont want to spend a huge amount so have been looking @ a pioneer cdj 100.

Id appreciate any comments anyone has as to whether its worthwhile for a 1st buy or what the alternatives are.

I have a cdj100s and a cdj1000 and the 100s is (by a [censored] long way!) THE BEST CD DECK I HAVE EVER USED!

Not too big and bulky, the jog wheel is perfect, and the addition of the 3FX settings make it the winner imo!

I know only use the 1000 when I take it to gigs with me - not even setup in my Bedroom cos I dont like it that much!

So if you hadnt already taken the point, buy a Pioneer CDJ100s - dont waste another 400quid when you dont need to!!

forgot to mention - regardless of what you choose, make sure its a pioneer model!!

ALL Pioneer cdj models have same basic functions so once you have used one, you can use any with ease since auto-cue, pause/play, skip/search etc. are in same place on every one!
