CTW Admin James Posted August 4, 2003 CTW Admin Share Posted August 4, 2003 Kev, I think we need to re-address our Mission Statement and make it clear somewhere on the site. We seem to be accused of being Lightweights for 'missing' Friday night at Slinky (which I never said I was attending in either case, just that it would be 'a' club, and not necessarily hardhouse). People are missing the entire point of the site at the moment. Of course there are lots of spin-off advantages for people to meet-up constantly at tidy/sunny d/hardhouse academy etc.. but how does this make us different to the rest - it doesnt. Bournemouth was a success, but they will get bigger and better - we wont give up. And I'm not having anyone think that a weekend "may or may not go ahead" in future. One a month from now on, and properly planned. We'll get there - at least we're aware of our faults. My point is, if you organise something like this in advance you should try your damned best to turn up to it. Also, I only went to Bournebouth because: A) It was Bunnykins birthday - I thought CTW was all about members, but when members birthdays are dismissed and forgotten I don't see how it can be.
