[ Suggestions ] - How can we tempt more overseas clubbers to join CTW ?

I personally think the BEST way of promoting the site is through us/the members "word of mouth". You cant beat someone recommending the site to someone whilst they are out and about in clubland.

 

For overseas exposure though this cant happen today so it will most definitely take me, kev, liam / anyone else who's up for it to physically go over and visit a few clubs, get piccies, hand out cards etc...

 

I think we most definitely need to change the content on the site and make it more appealing to other countries & people into different types of music. We rely far too much on the forum to attact people which is wrong really, although they can (sometimes) reflect our friendlyness to potential Newbies and make them join for this alone.

 

Its not really an urgent thing we need, I kind of think we just go with the flow and if people stumble across the site or hear about it then all well and good. I dont really agree with 80% of the promotion that goes go on today (flyers, magazine articles etc..) as people could quite often join for the wrong reasons or have higher expectations of the site which lets face it is still very much in its infancy.

 

Deffo have some better idea of priorities now though and yes we're deffo getting out to more areas in future - please join us !

I do my part but to be honest the clubbin world here in my small town sux..lol..Mostly redneck bars. But when I get the chance I get out to the others I know are good and I tell ppl about it but I dunno whats to attract them to stay. I stayed cos I met some really nice ppl..

We all need to go to a beach and all have a little plastic bottle, get a pice of paper, wrote down our user names and also write the site name on it. Throw it into the sea and im sure it will get to the other side for when someone takes a swim and see's a lucky plastic bottle !
