yeh i know but how i dress has nothing to do with the rabbit, or how my nanna looked, yet she knew these details, also i was wearing a suit as i had been to an interview, and as i don't normally wear suits it wouldn't have given any indication of my personality

 

Seriously you tell her everything, with your reactions voluntary or involuntary. If she's good she'll keep probing to get closer to the right answer, without you knowing what she's doing. She is building up a picture of you, through her interrogation techniques. It may seem magical, but it's not, it's just some seriuosly astute observations and they way they are interporated.

my aunt is a Jehovah's Witness and its fantastic cos i don't get bothered by them when they make the rounds knocking on peoples doors and trying to convert them, they just leave me alone

nah i just went to see what they'd say, and most of it was good stuff, which is great, although i doubt a lot of it will come true

i can't make my mind up. generally i'm not too cynical about things like this but i believe that capn_jack has described pretty accurately how most of these people operate.

 

it's total lady macbeth syndrome - you hear a lot of things you want to hear and you tell yourself it's uncanny and true. it's done subtly and, done well, can appear mindblowing.

 

that said, i don't doubt for a secon that there are people who are attuned to a different wavelength (for want of a better term) and can pick up on unspoken ideas or events yet to happen.
