Can you have too many moderators?

I'm with Capn_Jack on this one...you can def have too many moderators. I must admit I was wrong, and everyone else was right, when only a short while ago he, and everybody else was shouting me down, when I said we needed more moderators...

Hang on....what this....we've now got 10 moderators many of whom look after more than one forum... but most of whom don't look after more than a few....Including the man Jack himself!! When did that happen......Kev... did you know about this??

 

Sniff.....Never one to say 'I told you so' Big_EE goes back to looking for an obscure acid jungle nite to post about, so he can maintain his postion on the moral high ground, by moaning on that no one ever comes to anything new or intresting!!!

i'm a little confused as to what the actual problem is - in what way are these "too many moderators" adversely affecting the site?

We reviewed the situation. As you are probably aware we have had a few issues in the last few weeks with having to keep the site moderated, it proved too much to keep an eye on all the forums so we designated the responsilibilty to those we felt we could trust and who are on here on a regular basis to keep an eye on the situation. More mods means less time dealing with issues and more time dealing with whats supposed to be dealt with.

Yes Indeed could not agree more Kev, and this exactly what I said on the 12th August. IE Then I said "We need more Mods' You James & everyone else said "No we don't".

 

I'm not saying we don't...I have never said we don't.... i have been saying all along we do need more, and now we have more, things are much better...but rather than posting something like
