i'm leavin' las vegas

well, actually, i'm leaving san francisco but there's no song called "leavin' san francisco..."

 

i'm broke, my dotcom honeymoon is over and the job market here has collapsed so i've decided to move out of san francisco for a few months. i'm going to move to tahoe for the winter - probably at the end of november.

 

i'm focused on getting a job teaching snowboarding but, if i can't

do that, i'll try to get work as a shuttle bus driver or doing anything really. the ski resorts have hundreds of jobs going at this time of year so getting something should not be ultra hard.

 

if i get a job at a mountain, i'll get to board for free which will

save me a huge amount of money also as, in the winter, that's my biggest outgoing. the rent up there is reasonably cheap compared to san francisco plus there's nothing to do except board

 

so i'm pretty excited about this. light at the end of the tunnel i

guess...

 

so if any of you fancy a boarding/ski holiday and tahoe is on your list of possibilities, look me up
