CTW DJs Digital Liquid Posted October 16, 2003 Author CTW DJs Share Posted October 16, 2003 I'm with Clare on this one. I can't speak with any experience of Logic Pro Audio, although, it resides on my pc. Another "beastie" to master - perhaps this is the kick I need to try it properly ! ....he he... Not when I've just got FL4.1 studio running... That's got lots of scope left for investigation... especially a new Vst : Orange Vocoder ...gggorgeous... Well, Logic is pretty easy to use and so is Cubase and Pro Tools. At the end of the day, u're still gonna make the same sounds whichever sequencer u're using....because u're either using outside samples or making them with VST's, and you can use any VST in any program these days..so people that say one soudns more professional than the other are kidding themselves, and are probably not using the software correctly. And when u tell people that Guyver, Olly Perris, Rowland & Wright etc uses Fruity then they go like : "Yea, but they don't make "good" or "imaginative" tracks" etc etc...well, that's down to personaly opinion, but the sound which is produced is still top notch so it actually takes their argument away Show me something in Logic or Cubase that I cannot do in Fruity...and then I might be convinced... CTW Admin James Posted November 4, 2003 CTW Admin Share Posted November 4, 2003 Does anyone on here use Sonar ? I've not seen it mentioned yet and its one of the industry standards (aledgedly ?) Its obviously a massive product and quite possibly 'too' techy for the average home musician - but I'm wondering what the pros and cons are aginst it vs say Reason 2.5 ? Probably the easiest one to use from them all, but I'm not too keen on it personally...but it's only the interface that puts me off...others swear by it
