your choice. the fact that you werent that taken with the first means it obviously went a little over your head though, perhaps the rest arent for you either. never mind though, you gave it a go thats the main thing smile.gif

despite how i may look in my avatar, i am actually intelligent.

it didn't go over my head, just thought that for a supposed horror it wasn't all that scary, now forgive me if i'm wrong but isn't the whole point of horror to be scary?

it's not a horror at all, it's a gothic fantasy. the books are written more like romance novels than horror fiction.

so despite you being 'actually intelligent' it seems you missed to point entirely and missed out on a renound modern classic.

stick to you steven king's in future, they've got big scary monsters in.

the only things thats scary about stephen king's books, is the fact that people actually like them.

as for ann rice, i just don't rate her, and the films you will find in the horror section of the video store, also the books are also in the horror section of libraries, and wether gothic or not, you'd think if it was fantasy those librarians would get it right and put it in the fantasy section wouldn't you.

sorry i'm confused what serves me right?

the fact that i have worked in libraries and know what books are classed as what or the fact that ann rice just isn't my cup of tea? i have read most of the particular book we was talking about, and didn't rate it as a horror, which is technically what it is, being in horror section an all

ok, i'll break it down and say it a little simpler for you;

it serves you right for judging the contents of a book, by section it was placed in a bookshop/library.

now can we get back to slagging people off now please?

well as the section it goes on is based on the publishers recommendation, i wasn't judging it by the section it was put it, but by the publishers saying it was classed as horror.

and as for slagging people i didn't realise i was slagging anyone off, but you can do as like
