What does everyone make of the Rio Ferdinand issue!

basically, he was meant to give a urine sample, he didnt.

 

at the end of the day they cant let him off, otherwise they cannot punish people for it in the future.

 

if people do coke 4 instance, which alot of football players do, it can be out of your blood in 48 hours.

 

as rio ferdinand gave his sample 36 hours late, that could have been the difference between positive & negative.

 

so yeah i think he should be punished, next week would have been a good time to bring it uop though, not just before the turkey match

I heard another player (no idea who) missed a test about 2 weeks previous ... turn up 48hrs later and took it.

 

 

They fined him £2000.

Evening bushy Im not a fan of football or footballers in any sense of the word..apart from david beckham hmmmmmmmmm !! But i agree totally with what jay said..seems a bit strange
