right ive just got both programs and for the life of me i cant figure out how to sequence the reason channels seperately.

eg. when i put redrum1 assigned to midi channel 1 the whole lot comes through rather than just the kick

ive tried using 2 drum machines and the same happens!

also the actual sequencing does nt seem to work because it just keeps on playing continously, im obviously doin somat wrong but i havent the foggiest what uhm.gif

can anyone shed any light on it?

Have you bypassed the mixer in reason? plug each machine into the midi in device, you should now be able to assign each machine a channel in cubase.

I prefer to use the nn-19 for the kick so maybe try that rather than the redrum.

Im not hot with cubase so some1 else should be able to tell you more about that

nice one ive done that now but im wondering should you plug the left & right in to seperate channels and then group them on cubase cos thats what ive bin doin & it eats up your channels sad.gif

Yea, im pretty sure thats the best way to do it..

ie.. a redrum would be in channels 1 & 2 a nn-19 would be 3 & 4 etc.....
