Where do you wanna go in 2004 ?

Some ideas:

 

Olso (I'm going for definite early next year, anyone else up for it?)

Prague (this time during the summer)

Holland (anywhere but tourist saturated Amsterdam!)

Budapest (clubbing scene going strong - and is a beautiful city)

Dubrovnik (ditto)

Barcelona (been before but so want to go again)

Iceland (expensive but beautiful)

Berlin (love parade perhaps)

 

and of course .....

 

IBIZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

most of these places are an hour or so away from the UK. Can be done over the weekend and if booked early can be relatively cheap so who's up?

from what i was told hyde park where i was gona go with shay but thank god i didnt people were [censored] and also goin on rides [censored] at alton towers. it is a clubbin site yer but it is also where friends can do stuff together and be mature yet still have a laugh and its a community of equal rights too. people meeting up not to get [censored] as in clubs but to meet up and get to know each other properly whilst not under the influence of drugs but too see the real people and act as real friends cause the site isnt just about clubbin but about friendship and doin things as friends and a community.

agreed with ya 100 %, but like you said as far as the picnic turned out, you asked if anyone would be getting wasted on the board and the answer was no, but as it happened it didnt turn out that way.

 

i wouldnt want to risk it chick its not cus i dont like shay cus you know i love him to bits, i just wouldnt want to be around mine or anyone elses children when out with the clubbing community, things can get carried away and before you know it everyone is on a high, if you know what i mean

I agree with both Luu Luu & Danni here, I sympathise with Danni that she has a child who she can not got sitters for all the time, but as Luu say's it isnt really ideal to bring children along, but in the future if James idea's all go to plan then, why not bring kids!!

Not sure where I want to go next year, apart from Ibiza again, but I can definitely recommend Barcelona and Stockholm...

 

Went to Barcelona earlier this month and caught Hed Kandi at CDLC. Its just an all round gorgeous city, packed with things to do...

 

Been to Stockholm twice and adore it there. Cafe Opera is a lavish club, its like something out of a Bond movie...

 

Dance Valley and The Love Parade look appealing for next year...

i went to the picknic. i was there 4 hours but had to leave early cuz of other commitments. there was absolutly no drugs taken while i was there bar excessive amounts of alchol (and admittedly a few poppers taken *descreatly*)

 

i cant comment on the activities afterwards, but if u take your kid i KNOW people here will be sencible enuf to be lagal around him/her.

this is why i asked about doin a few daytime things where people will be mature and respectible if it is gonna be a friendship and community thing aswell as a clubbin site. yes we are here cause of our mutual like of clubbin and music but then we are becoming friends doin other stuff together where we are not off our faces so people such as myself and possibly the few others on here to maybe do stuff that is fun for adults and kids to do as sharing our friendships together in stuff we would normally do and kids can be fun for others to play with even if they do annoy us thats cause they know how to get round us but they could also be non annoyin when around new faces.

i know me and bukey was gona do a small meet where we met at drayton manor which is a theme park and zoo wen his neice was there but it didnt happen but it would be nice to do stuff in day during the summer where everyone could be involved young or old. this could also benefit some certain people that will be comin bak and wont be able to club jus as yet but would love too see everyone again. (no names mentioned cause he would kick my arse)

I know where your coming from dani, but end of, you can't assume or tell people where & when they can and can't 'do' things, it's not exclusive to clubbing.

im not assuming im jus adding to the post what i would like to see in 2004 cause i would really like to be able to join in more activities and always feel upset and left out cause i cant as aften as liked and only get to see people when they are off there faces its jus a suggestion thats all

I'd like to do clubbing and non-clubbing events too... Clubbing wise, I suppose it's easier to decide on things as and when. Non-clubbing wise, however, here are some suggestions:

 

- Drayton Manor - it's a smaller Alton Towers, with zoo. It's family fun and a good laugh. In the summer, we could also have a picnic there.

 

- Alton Towers - really wanted to do this earlier in the year. Deffo should do next year.

 

- Hiking - I'm willing to take you lot out hiking, if you want. It's a good laff and great fun.

 

- Camping - if you lot want, I know a few quiet campsites that we could have almost exclusive use to. Do local attractions and things, throw up a marquee too - have some music and drinks and things of an evening, make a weekend of it. Global Gathering eat yer heart out.

i reckon a well cheesey holiday at butlins or somehing could be fun - no doubt we'd all be kicked out not long after we get there - but could be rather amusing taking park in all the adult games and party dances!
