There is no way you can fully trust the other person in a situation like this is there?

If trust comes into it, you might as well just end it and save yourself a lot of distress in the long run!

how can you have a relationship without trust? you gonna keeping tabs on somone all the time? i dunno about you but i trust the person i'm with completely, if i didn't then how could i go out with someone whether they lived close by or far away?

Agree with you totaly, If there is no trust at all there is no point wasting each others time and emotions in the first place but it makes it even harder (too bloody hard sometimes!) to trust the other person when they live so far away!

Well done to yourself if your able to make this arrangement work, I've been there before and it has not!

i know what you mean shen, i trust him (even though its a new relationship), but sometimes you just want to give them a call to come over for a cuddle and chat but i know that cant happen, its my first long distance relationship so its all new to me.

i spose im really lucky compared to your distance though, it takes a strong person to keep it going especially in yours and sweet26's case thumbs.gif

These are all good points and Im sure that LDR do work and people are happy with what they have.

I wouldnt go any far away than London for a girl because its just to much of a emotional strain and a big effort all round for me!

I'm in a long distance relationship, i live in north wales and emma lives in lincoln, we've been together for well over a year, the distance really fucks me off, but she is worth it. When we see each other its amazing but it hurts when you have to leave.

Luu i know exactly where you are coming from with the cuddle thing.

As trust goes, i trust her completely and she trusts me (i hope lol)

Stick at it luu, it'll work out for ya, and your fella is a fuckin star!

yes the distance is [censored], and yes, id rather have the company then be stuck here on my own....but as has been said...it makes the time youre together worthwhile and you appreciate it more!
