CTW Members MrBagginz Posted November 5, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted November 5, 2003 Good point. My mate did a course on music production at the Manchester Midi School that was 2,700 for 6 months, he only had 1 lecture a week! Quote The adventures of... CTW Members MrBagginz Posted November 5, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted November 5, 2003 Yea, and what you have to think about is how important is it really to recording companys anyway. Most major record labels must realise that there is a gold pot of unsung talent out there who have become really good just doing what they do at home. Why dont you try to get an intership at a record label?? Quote The adventures of... C_yall_bagginz_238@Hotmail.com

CTW Members MrBagginz Posted November 5, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted November 5, 2003 Cheers, I may call on you. I live in Iowa which is ban in the middle. Mostly farming really. But there is a real underground rave culture here. I went to a halloween party last weekend and it was pretty good. Mostly house music and DnB. One trance DJ but he was really really progressive. I lean to the harder style. I was chatting to the promoter and he asked for a CD which I am putting together this week. HOpefully summat will come of it. All the kids at the party were well into it all though. It was like being surrounded by people who had just taken their first ever pill. Kinda cool actually Quote The adventures of... CTW DJs DJ Elemental Posted November 5, 2003 Author CTW DJs Share Posted November 5, 2003 hehe - got a friend out in the states and i got her going on Paul Glazby and joji Biomehanika - k90 and stuff. I reckon you should send a few demos out to various clubs - its not that they dont like the style of music out there - its because they've not heard it or much of it before. If your going to offer something different im sure places would snap you up pretty quick Quote http://bos.abavagada.net/oddfiles/djelementalonline.jpg
