Now it should be the job of promoters to filter out the [censored] DJs, but that fact is, lots of clubbers out there lap up the same old [censored]! Bang Bang. From this point on liquideyes is now my spokesperson. Guest
Well the fact that the "said" DJs are choosing these same old same old tidy/nukleuz style records/tunes does make them a [censored] DJ IMO

A DJ can only be as good as his records. i used to disagree with this statement, but after going though a 'phase' of trying to be amazingly technical and cocking up every mix i've quickly learned that a good DJ plays good records and maybe a little extra if it fits at the time Quote Mr Happy's fishy fish MangaFish munch munch MSN & e-mail - mangafish@mangafish.net AOL - MangaMorgan Online mixes - http://www.mangafish.net/mixes/

So shall we start blaming producers/record labels too for not making/distributing that are in your opinion, tunes that you wana hear/play out?? Or shall we say this is more down to peoples opinion of what tunes/genres people like in general and the places that play nukleuz and tidy tunes are not clubs that play ur idea style of the music? CTW Members Mr Happy Posted November 11, 2003 CTW Members Share Posted November 11, 2003 labels like tidy trax dont help by not promoting up and comming producers, only their in house team. however i dont think they're soley to blame. not by a long shot. if DJs played a bit more varied selection of labels then smaller labels would have a chance to be heard. sadly its a vicious circle. alot of clubbers only want to hear their favourite tunes. so DJs play the big tunes so clubbers dont hear tunes by less known names so the less known names dont get a chance to beome big names (i think that made sence) Quote Mr Happy's fishy fish MangaFish munch munch MSN & e-mail - mangafish@mangafish.net AOL - MangaMorgan Online mixes - http://www.mangafish.net/mixes/
