I'm usin' xp...and have got office xp home edition...which aint got access or front page on it...me old comp which has office 2000 professional has...n i wanna be able to jus install front page and access from the cd for office 2000 onto me new comp wit xp and office xp on it... but not the rest of the shite...howd i do this then? scratchchin.gif *i've been told it can be done..jus not HOW to do it.. rolleyes.gif*... so..anyone?... smile.gif

erm when your doing the install process - select custom install - it should let you select what you want to install. but i;ve never tried it - but its usually the case with other applications nerner.gif

i fot so...but when i tried that..it looked like it were gonna install some of the other bits of office (word n stuff) over the top of the xp version..which i donne want it to do...it confused me a lil...stoopid fookin microsoft... aka tosser.gif *shoot bill [censored] gates* yes.gif

2 answer the original question, office xp, and office 2000 are two different software packages, they probably won't see each other as the same thing. or will come up with some warning about "different version detected"
