if your really bothered about the members who have not posted messing up statistics then just specify to exclude those members when producing stats. its bloody easy to do in SQL

 

plus as james said - think about the e-mails

 

why delete something that isnt actually causing a problem?

I was virtually inactive for the best part of 6 months ... but I would have been well [censored] off if I came back and my account had been deleted!

too difficult to delete profiles as theres always gonna be some1 who gets pissed off when they take an extended leave of absence from here and return to find they've been deleted.
