i know a lot of people at my school did drugs. I think it is a combination of wanting to escape from restrictive school life in a private school and having parents with money so u can afford it. I personally have never done nething stronger than marijuana (very occasionally i might also add). Instead of other drugs i get very pissed and have a fcking good time loving the music.

I went to private infant school in Potters Bar (cant remember name - eek!), then Framlingham College in Suffolk which I ran away from as I hated full-time boarding school, then I weekly-boarded at Highgate School in London which was an exceptional school (although I still only got 2 GCSEs - I blame the fact my brain was still not properly developed lol).

 

By the way it was the first year of GCSEs when I took them - how priviledged lol

 

I then went to college in Welwyn Garden City where I studied computing for 3 years. After this I just wanted to work so didnt go Uni and was suprisingly advised against it in fact due to the job market at that time. I made the right choice (for me).

 

My sisters went to St Albans high school. My dad insisted I also went to private school because he assumed I would [censored] about too much a public school

 

I'm pleased I had the education I did and I think it has helped me a lot but I severely missed out on mixing with the opposite sex which is probably why I ran into getting married blind lol

 

If/when I have kids I think I will leave the choice to them as to where they want to school.

My last School was a Derby Grammar School. To be fair I had a wikid time there as I was in the top year all the way thru.

 

It only openied in 1995 with Years 7,8 & 9 and I started there in year 9 - how lucky was I? And there was only 25 people there when the school first opened!!!!

 

I deffo feel I got a better education by going to a private school though and am very grateful to my parents for it.

i went to state school for 3 years, then my grandad put me in a privet school, coz i was really unhappy in the school i was in, and it gave me a lot of confidance and made me in to a different person. it was the best thing i have eva done..

there was people in my old school, (the first one i went to) that have excelled them selfes, but i feel that the people i was frinds with were not not the sort of people i would be friends with today.
